Commissions.

Commissioning art is the process by which an artist creates a work of art on a client's invitation.

The Process

Size

To begin the process we need to establish the size and quantity you are after for your space.

Clients often email a photo of the room along with its wall measurements. This is especially helpful if you would like assistance on finding the perfect size for a particular wall.

Orientation

Select whether your artwork will be hung landscape or portrait.

Composition and Colour Palette

This can be established by emailing 1-3 screenshots of my previous artworks that you connect with. Along with this, you can select colours from the sample swatches provided. This gives me a starting point and a guide; please understand that every artwork is unique and I do not directly recreate previous originals.

Other Information

For the quotation I will need the following information:

  1. For Shipping purposes - where will the artwork be going to? International or within Australia? If you live in the South West Region I am happy to personally deliver the artwork to you.

  2. Materials. Please select if you would like the artwork with or without a resin topcoat, mounted/unmounted or framed/unframed.

Commission Turnaround Time

Generally custom pieces take up to 6 weeks to create (depending on size) and if it is to be framed/unframed.

Deposit

To proceed with a commission, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required prior to commencing work. Balance due on completion (prior to shipping/pick up or delivery).

Progress

During the process, I will send you pictures of the development of the artwork for your approval.

Amendments

Each quote allows for up to 2 amendments. Further changes can be requested at an additional fee (quoted separately).

Other

Please note there are no returns or refunds on custom requested artworks.
